Important Booking Information
Nesting Season:
The White Heron nesting season is typically from mid-September until early March.
Please be aware that there are less White Heron towards the end of the nesting season.
If you book for February/March please contact us closer to the time for an update on numbers.
Booking Enquiries:
The form below is to request a White Heron Tour booking for the selected date and time.
We will confirm your booking request via email as soon as possible.

No Booking Fees:
The secure credit card booking system we use does not charge extra booking fees.
A valid credit card is required to guarantee your online White Heron Tour booking.
Your card details are securely held for this purpose.
Credit Card Policy:
Your credit card will NOT be charged unless cancellation or non-arrival fees apply,
Tour payment can be made at check-in by credit card, EFTPOS, or cash.
We accept Visa or MasterCard credit cards - no surcharge is added.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled tour will incur no charges.
For late cancellation or non-arrival, a charge equivalent to the full tour cost may be applied
to the credit card provided.

Access to the protected Waitangiroto Nature Reserve and White Heron nesting site is permitted by the Department of Conservation and only available by joining a land-based guided tour with White Heron Sanctuary Tours, Whataroa.
